Released from Lockdown!!

At last! Nearly 4 months on from the March lockdown, I travelled to the Yorkshire Dales to participate in the Yorkshire Photo Walks workshop. It wasn’t too early a start, leaving home at around 7:30 in order to arrive at Selside for 10:00am. The weather didn’t play ball and we were greeted with wind and rain, which put paid to the original plan of visiting Ingleborough NNR. Thinking on his feet, Tom decided to relocate everyone to the Hoffman Lime Kiln in Langcliffe. Here we split into 2 groups, with one group concentrating on “Minature Worlds” and the second group in the dry of the kiln before swapping over later in the morning. Tom gave us guidance on what we should be looking to capture, and off we set. Despite the poor weather, it was an enjoyable morning’s learning, and hopefully the start of more time in the outdoors capturing the beautiful Yorkshire landscape.
